Providing opportunities for persons with disabilities in the environment of their choice.
Through the efforts of concerned citizens of Tehama County, North Valley Services became a California Non-profit corporation in January 1967. Since it’s opening, the Agency has experienced tremendous growth both in numbers of individuals served as well as physical locations of it’s facilities. North Valley Services is accredited by the Commission of Rehabilitation Facilities. The Adult Day Support Centers and Behavioral Support Services are licensed through Community Care Licensing. All NVS Transportation Services meet or exceed federal requirements. North Valley Services depends on the support of the community. You are invited to call, write or visit North Valley Services or request speakers to explain our programs and services.
NVS is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Tehama and Glenn County citizens who provide their services without compensation. The staff at NVS are charged with the responsibility of carrying out the functions of the agency as established by the board.

We at North Valley Services take pride in our organization and will strive to conduct business with honesty and integrity in a professional manner.
Individuals are placed depending on a persons goal’s. Programs place an emphasis on a person’s independence and integration into the community and the acquisition or maintenance of functional skills. Individualized training utilizing Self-Directed Programs (choice over daily activities) in the areas of self advocacy, functional education, social skills, recreation, leisure skills, personal care and any other training a person needs developed to achieve their personal goals. NVS can also assist persons with disabilities to find and retain employment in group or individual placement through job development and placement.
North Valley services will maintain and/or develop programs and activities to assist persons with disabilities so they may achieve the highest degree of personal growth possible, while providing quality services to all customers and to maintain levels of growth in services provided and delivered. We will maintain and earn respect from customers, peers and the community.
